We greet the morning high in the lava fields and black vineyards of the North East of the island, and descend into the famous inverted cone of the Bandama crater, one of the largest craters here, measuring 1km in diameter. The crater is occupied by a single gentleman who is always some distance away from you. |
We’ll visit old ruins, caves and places of worship for the original Canarians who lived here among the now protected rare plants and trees that thrive in this ancient place. We’ve earned a break at one of the old wineries to end our day in cozy conversation. |
